BEHIND THE SCENES WITH
MARY LEE PARTINGTON SONG & STORY

Mary Lee Partington is an award-winning New England-based singer, writer, and event-maker, available for festival, concert, and special event/occasion performances. She performs as part of American folk music duo Partington & Sweeney or in ensemble with All-Ireland fiddler Sheila Falls & All-Ireland piper Torrin Ryan.
Further projects include the Irish dance-driven ensemble Roscommon Soles with longtime performance partner NEA National Heritage Fellow Kevin Doyle (Irish step dance & American tap), and Molly's Adventure, a project devoted to performing arts for living history events.
Partington's repertoire ranges from traditional, historic, or contemporary vocal material to original songs brewed from regional stories. Her music, performance, and available programs are woven from a life singing, teaching, and serving community through the arts and humanities. Additionally, Partington is available to sing with an accompanist for ceremonial and public events where an old favorite song or anthem honors special occasions, from lullabies to love songs!
